Offering Michigan's youth a healthy outdoor alternative to the "city life" since 1914, YMCA Camp Nissokone is a tradition for several generations of families. Children, parents and even grandparents can recollect the memories of the campfire songs, sailing on Van Ettan Lake and canoeing along the AuSable River. Great activities are an important part of camp, but the real benefits of Summer Camp are the friendships that are forged, the positive values that are cemented and the independence that is reached....we call it, "a part of growing up."
